What you can expect from every Wordzex article: how we research, how we stay independent and how we handle mistakes.

Our purpose
Our job is to help you make a good purchase decision. Every article is written for the reader first: what is the decision, what are the realistic options, and what are the trade-offs between them?
How we research
- Primary sources. Manufacturer specifications, warranty terms, safety and regulatory documentation, and published standards.
- Independent evidence. Published laboratory measurements, consumer-protection and standards-body data, and long-term owner feedback at scale rather than individual anecdotes.
- Domain knowledge. Each article is written by the editor responsible for that category.
Where an article draws on our own hands-on use of a product, we say so explicitly. When we haven’t used something ourselves, we don’t imply that we have: our guides are decision frameworks and brand analyses, not simulated first-hand reviews.
Independence
No brand pays for coverage. Companies cannot purchase placement, ratings, wording or the removal of criticism.
We don’t accept payment in exchange for editorial mentions. If we ever add affiliate links or sponsored content, they will be clearly labelled where they appear and will never influence which products we recommend or how we rank them. Editorial decisions are made separately from any commercial arrangement.
Prices, specifications and availability
Prices and product line-ups change constantly, so we avoid quoting exact prices unless they’re essential and we describe price tiers instead. Always confirm current specifications, pricing and warranty terms with the seller before you buy.
Updates and corrections
Evergreen guides are revisited when the underlying facts change. When we update an article materially we show an “Updated” date. If you spot an error, please tell us — we’ll investigate, correct the article and note significant changes.
Authors and bylines
Every article carries a named author and their area of responsibility. You can read about the team on our About page.
Trademarks
Brand and product names mentioned on Wordzex are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the products discussed. Their use does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those owners.
