EcoFlow vs BLUETTI in Germany: power stations compared on specs, paperwork and deals

This is a research-based comparison. We read both brands' own German pages (returns, warranty, terms and home pages) between 26 and 28 October 2026. We have not bought from either or tested a unit. Our scores are checklist-based "desk scores" and say how much we could read; see how we score. We corrected this article on 28 October after finding BLUETTI's German warranty and return pages, which an earlier version had missed.

EcoFlow and BLUETTI sell the same kind of product: portable power stations and balcony solar storage. Both run heavy promotions. So the useful question is not who shouts "up to 53% off" loudest, but what each one promises in writing once you have paid. For sizing help before you shop, our power station sizing guide covers the basics.

The scores#

EcoFlow comes out at 4.1 and BLUETTI at 3.9. A gap that small is inside the noise of a checklist, so we call it a tie. Where they differ:

Returns#

Both promise 30 days. EcoFlow gives an unconditional return within 30 days of receipt for orders on its EU shop. BLUETTI gives a 30-day money-back guarantee on purchases from its official shop, for goods that are complete, unused and in the original packaging.

The difference is the cost. On a change-of-mind return with EcoFlow you pay a transaction fee (between 1.5% and 3.6%, depending on payment method and which of its pages you read) plus shipping (the pages quote €25 or €65 for Germany on one, €60 to €100 by product on another). With BLUETTI, an RMA return is shipped at BLUETTI's expense, and no restocking fee is listed. BLUETTI's own withdrawal section, though, says you pay the direct cost of return, so its pages disagree. Our guide to your rights when an online order goes wrong explains which route to use.

Neither shows delivery times on the pages we read. EcoFlow says its prices include shipping unless stated; BLUETTI's terms give no shipping costs and deliver only within Germany.

Warranty and service#

Both publish clear, long warranties.

• EcoFlow: DELTA 3 series 5 years, DELTA 3 Max 3 years plus 2 more after app registration, STREAM series 10 years, WAVE 3 24 months. Claim steps and decision times are published.

• BLUETTI: 24 to 72 months on portable power stations and 48 to 60 months on home-backup systems; 24 months on solar panels and accessories. Replacement is arranged within 7 working days of the faulty item reaching its warehouse.

Both also contradict themselves. EcoFlow has two different fee tables and two shipping-cost lists. BLUETTI gives 48 hours to cancel on one page and 72 on another, mixes in US-state wording on a German page, and names two seller addresses (Frankfurt am Main and Stuhr). Read the page you are buying under, and screenshot it.

The deals#

EcoFlow's STREAM 5000 5 kWh Solar Set (2,000 Wp) is listed from €1,899 against €2,499, about 24% off. Its Halloween Flash Sale runs 27 October to 1 November; a separate STREAM sale shows no end date. Our store page for EcoFlow lists threshold codes, a sign-up offer and a referral offer.

BLUETTI's German shop shows a Halloween sale of up to 37%. The Balco 260 is €789 against €1,049 (about 25% off) and the Elite 400 is €1,899 against €1,999 (about 5%). Sale end dates are not shown, only a countdown. Our BLUETTI listing covers its US shop, whose sale ended on 19 October, so there are no live BLUETTI deals on Wordzex today, and the deal block below says so. Our guide to checking a sale price is real works for both.

Our take#

No winner. If an easy exit from a purchase matters most, BLUETTI's published return terms are lighter. If you are buying for the biggest visible discount and a long, specific warranty, EcoFlow's pages give you more to hold it to. In both cases the final cart price and the return terms at checkout are what count. Our write-up of the EcoFlow WAVE 3 and balcony battery covers the product side.
