BioGaia review: a probiotic brand with a sitewide code and a wholesale-style refund page

This is a research-based review. We read BioGaia's US site on 11 October 2026. We have not bought or taken its products. This is not medical advice; talk to a doctor or pharmacist before taking any supplement.

What it sells#

BioGaia sells probiotic products. If you are new to the category, what a probiotic label can and can't tell you explains why strain names and doses matter more than the word "probiotic".

Offers on the day#

• Code HEALTHY15: a banner read "Receive 15% off using code HEALTHY15 (excludes bundles and multi-packs)". No expiry date was stated.

• Free shipping: "Spend $50 for free shipping."

• Subscribe and save: the footer offered 15 percent off with the right to change or cancel at any time.

We did not enter the code at checkout, so we list it as seen on the store's own page, not as validated.

Returns: ask before you buy#

The refund page we found at the store's policy address describes a 30-day window, a return authorisation by phone, a 10 percent deduction from the refund and credit within 30 days of receipt. It refers to "authorized wholesalers" and "sales representatives", so it reads as a wholesale policy. It does not say who pays return shipping. If you are buying as a consumer, contact the store before ordering and get the consumer terms in writing.

The trade-offs#

The offer is simple. Supplements bought on subscription at 15 percent off are only cheaper if you keep taking them, so use the maths in subscribe and save before you commit. Because opened supplements are often non-returnable for hygiene reasons, order a small quantity first.

Our take#

A straightforward discount, and an unclear returns position. We have not scored the store yet.
