Mint Outdoor review: rattan lounge sets, big "was" prices and a 14-day return window

This is a research-based review. We read Mint Outdoor's site, prices and stated terms on 11 October 2026. We have not bought from the store or tested its furniture, and we say so wherever it matters.

What it sells#

Mint Outdoor sells polyrattan garden lounge and dining sets. Its pages describe steel frames with polyrattan weave, polyspun fabric cushions and tempered-glass table tops. Some sets, such as the Murcia, are described as having removable cushions for washing and winter storage. If you are unsure what to look for in a set, our guide to rattan garden furniture covers frames, fibre and cushions.

Prices and offers#

On the day we looked, the homepage showed an end-of-season sale with prices "from only £199". Three bestsellers were listed at £699 (was £1,299), £599 (was £999) and £399 (was £499). The store also advertised a limited-edition code, STKGCOV, for a Stockholm cover and box bundle at £429 against a stated RRP of £1,099.

Those "was" prices come from the store itself. Before you rely on a saving of 40 or 46 percent, compare similar sets elsewhere, as we explain in Is the sale price real?. We did not test the code at checkout, so we list it as seen on the store's page, not as validated.

Delivery, warranty and returns#

• Delivery: "Free delivery" is stated on all orders. Stock items show 5 to 10 working days. Pre-order designs ship from the factory, and no timeframe is shown on the homepage.

• Warranty: a "minimum 3 year warranty" is advertised. The coverage terms were not visible to us, so read them before you buy.

• Returns: "14 day unused returns". Furniture is bulky, so check who pays for collection and whether the original packaging is needed. Read the full returns page first.

The trade-offs#

The prices are low for the specification described, and free delivery on bulky goods is useful. The cost is a short window to return something you have to unpack and assemble. A set that arrives and is built cannot count as unused, so measure carefully and check dimensions before ordering.

Our take#

Worth a look if you have measured your space and you shop sales sensibly. Treat the discount headline as a starting point, not a verdict. We will add a score once we can judge quality and service, which we cannot do from a website alone.
